Cut the crap

I’ve been thinking a lot about topics which I could write on. There are issues no doubt. They are calling out for attention, and will continue to itch petty bloggers like me to spare a few minutes off Facebook and Twitter to give them the little discerning remarks they deserve. I start to think about climate change, global warming, Afghanistan and Israel : the eternal news-makers, BP oil-spill, a sport tournament in Africa thats underway, G*Nice's bad writing and so much else.

But an eighteen-year-old has better things to ponder over…

Or does he?

Let’s just cut the crap.

I just finished secondary high school, so I am having my well-earned break with the looming thoughts of life in college and beyond. But I am really very disappointed that my break has turned out to be boring and unexciting. I figured out that maybe it’s to do something with the place, but that’s too silly an excuse for someone who has lived there for more than 10 years.

I think I am as bored right now as anyone could ever be in the whole of his/her eighteen-year-old life.

Even Dilbert does not get bored.

The Change

As time goes by we go past time. Paradoxical it may seem but it is not. No one's heard of withering sands. In the same way, no one's heard of keeping the sands of time still.

With time comes the inevitable change. And it is this change that we revere. The very change that moves the untiring human spirit forward.

Change is necessary. Neutral.

To a new beginning.
